Flood Of Parents Crash Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship Website

There are apparently a lot of Illinois parents who want to send their kids to private school.  Empower Illinois is one of the groups that is helping to run Illinois' new tax credit scholarship program.  It said yesterday that so many parents tried to apply for a scholarship this week that they crashed the system.  The tax credit scholarship allows people to donate money for private school tuition and get a break on their taxes.  Parents say the scholarship gives them another choice.
