Councils Roundup

Several new faces are sitting on Bloomington's and Normal's councils. In Bloomington Monday, council members and returning mayor, Tari Renner, took their oathes of office. Several alderman are returning, including Joni Painter and Scott Black. Two new members voted in, Jamie Mathy and Kimberly Bray, say they're excited to get to work in their wards. In Normal, Chemberly Cummings is the first minority council member in town history.  She says she's looking forward to working for her community. Cummings was sworn-in Monday, along with returning councilmen Scott Preston, Kevin McCarthy and Mayor Chris Koos. Koos did not address the discovery recount that was filed by his challenger Marc Tiritilli.
