David Gill is asking a federal appeals court to order him placed back on the November ballot. Gill is running for Congress in central Illinois as an independent. But he failed to get ten-thousand signatures to qualify for the ballot. He won a court challenge to that threshold, but lost a bid to stay on the ballot until that first court case is settled. Gill says it's more than just his bid to take on Congressman Rodney Davis that's at stake.
