Two Plans Floated For a Downtown Bloomigton Hotel

Jeff Giebelhausen is not throwing in the towel on building a hotel in downtown Bloomington. He says a plan for a  limited-service hotel for the Front 'N' Center building would be on a smaller scale than the earlier plan for a $52 million hotel and conference center that city officials turned down last month. This plan  may cost about $7 million and will not involve city money. A plan for a higher-quality, boutique hotel with a $7 million of city money was also presented.
