Rauner Signs Marijuana Decriminalization Bill Into Law

People in Illinois caught with a small amount of marijuana will no longer face jail time.  Governor Rauner signed a measure into law on Friday that reduces the punishment for those found with up to ten-grams of the drug.  People will now be fined up to two-hundred-dollars as opposed to receiving a six-month jail sentence.
