Nurse Practitioner Program at ISU Receives Huge Grant

A roughly $350,000 grant is heading to the family nurse practitioner program at Illinois State University's Mennonite College of Nursing.

According to The Pantagraph, the grant will assist 32 students according to nursing professor Denise Wilson, who is director of the grant and leader of the family nurse practitioner sequence. It will help cover tuition, fees and stipends for the 2016-2017 academic year.

This is the third time ISU has received an Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Services.
