New Judge in Coliseum Felony Cases

A new judge will handle the felony cases filed against five former management officials of the then-US Cellular Coliseum. The Pantagraph reports Judge Robert Freitag was named to take over the cases. The city of Bloomington ended its 10-year contract with CIAM in March of last year. About $1.1M was allegedly taken and total 111 indictments were handed down in the case. The coliseum is now known as Grossinger Motors Arena and is managed by VenuWorks.
