Rivian Automotive, the electric car startup that bought the former Mitsubishi Motors North America plant in Normal, plans to publicly unveil its first vehicles this year on its way to bringing a five-passenger truck to the market in 2020. Rivian CEO R.J. Scaringe tells
The Pantagraph Rivian also plans to announce partners who will use the plant this year as the company hopes to bring in other companies to manufacture at the facility, including as part of Rivian’s supply chain.
