Thanks, For Making This Year's Stuff the Bus For Children's Home and Aid a Huge Success

"Thanks!" Jeannie Higdon said with delight to volunteers and members of the media that unloaded a completely stuffed public transportation bus full of diapers, baby formula, clothes, wipes and toys to restock their Crisis Nursery pantry Monday morning.

Connect Transit, Paul Davis Restoration and Great Plains Media/Cities 92.9, 107.7 & 92.1 The Bull and The New Magic 99.5 teamed up with Children's Home and Aid last week in asking the public to help them stuff a Connect Transit bus at several grocery stores in Bloomington-Normal full of the supplies that will need to last the agency an entire year.

Thanks, to you, the number of packages of disposable diapers donated to the cause filled two rooms floor-to-ceiling at the Crisis Nursery and the monetary donations increased by over 100%, according to Higdon.

The unloading of the bus wrapped up at about 11am Monday, but Jeannie Higdon says it will likely take a few days to count and inventory the donations.
