The other Republican in the race for Illinois governor is looking to make it official. State Rep Jeanne Ives says she will file her paperwork to run for governor this afternoon in Springfield. Ives says that Republican and conservative voters in Illinois deserve an alternative to Governor Bruce Rauner. The governor filed his campaign paperwork last week. They two are likely headed for a showdown in next March's primary.
