The Bloomington City Council will consider on Monday changing procedures related to the use of credit cards by elected officials. Included in the proposed ordinance is a provision that would eliminate elected officials from using P-cards. Currently, the mayor is the only elected official that has one. The purchase of plane tickets with a P-card for the mayor's gilrfriend to join him on a trip to Japan is the incident that spawned an Illinois State Police. The item will be discussed at a work session at 5 p.m. Monday prior to the meeting of the whole at City Hall.
