Authorities have released the name of the homicide victim found by hikers on Sunday. 47 year old Teresa A. Poehlman of East Peoria’s body was discovered by a pair of hikers while walking the Funks Grove Nature center late Sunday afternoon. Preliminary autopsy results determined Ms. Poelhman's death was a homicide, but authorities have not said what the cause of death was or if it occurred where the body was found. The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the McLean County Sheriff's Department.
