Citizens Asked to Line Funeral Procession Route for Late Sgt Joshua Rodgers
Central Illinoisans are asked the line the funeral procession route for Sgt. Joshua Rodgers as he heads to his final resting place this weekend. The 22-year-old Bloomington native and Army Ranger was one of two soldiers killed in Afghanistan last week. Marked squad cars will lead the procession as it heads from Eastview Christian Church, 1500 N. Airport Rd. in Normal to Evergreen Cemetery, 302 E. Miller in Bloomington this Saturday. The procession departs at 2:30 p.m. The public is asked to stand along the procession route, but out of the roadway. They are also asked not to join the vehicle procession
