Rauner Proposes Medicaid Move

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner wants to move more people on the state's Medicaid rolls into managed care. But he wants fewer companies to handle their cases. The governor yesterday outlined a plan to have between four and seven companies manage care for 65-percent of the three-million people enrolled in Medicaid. Rauner says managed are saves money, but Illinois' current program is a bureaucratic mess.
