West Bloomington Residents Voice Concerns About Proposed Substation

Mid Central Community Action owns the home that Bloomington police are trying to make into a substation. The city council won't vote on it until January 23rd but the public got to offer feedback to the chief of police. WEEK-TV reports Chief Brendan Heffner saying they've been having problems with juveniles and guns in that area. Community members are saying in order to close the gap between citizens and the police they need to allow more communication. The chief says having more communication is what they're trying to do.
