Heartland CC Okays Tax breaks for Rivian

Heartland Community College is the latest to give its approval to a start-up car company to move to town. The Community College needs to sign-off on the property tax breaks the company says it needs to buy the old Mitsubishi plant. Heartland's portion of the half-million dollars a year in property taxes comes to about 42-thousand dollars a year. Unit 5 schools still have yet to approve the tax breaks.
