Challenge to Renner's Re-election Paperwork Moved to Thursday

Bloomington election managers will decide Thursday whether or not to move forward on a challenge to Mayor Terri Renner's re-election paperwork. The election commission postponed yesterday's meeting after being told they didn't provide enough public notice, and were breaking the state's open meetings law. The commission fumbled its way through the hearing. The question is whether Renner has enough valid signatures to stay on the mayoral ballot. He's confident he does. If Renner, and the other candidates all remain, voters will narrow the five candidates down in a February primary
