New Poll Shows Support For Term Limits, ReMap

An overwhelming majority of Illinois voters want terms limits for politicians and a new way to draw the state's political map.  The latest poll from Southern Illinois University's Paul Simon Public Policy Institute shows almost 80 percent of voters support term limits.  The same poll shows nearly 72 percent of voters want redistricting reform, which would change how the state draws its political map.  Advocacy groups tried to get both ideas onto the fall ballot, but were stymied by the Illinois Supreme Court.
