Illinois To Share In $53 Million To Fight Heroin

Illinois is one of 44 states that'll share in the latest federal grant to fight heroin and other opioid addictions.  The state's Department of Human Services announced the grant yesterday.  Illinois DHS Secretary James Dimas says the state will see eight-million of the 53-million-dollars.  Dimas says heroin and opioid abuse are "at crisis levels" in Illinois.
