Battle To Get On Ballot Continues For Illinois Congressional Hopeful

A Central Illinois independent Congressional candidate is getting bad news about his quest to stay on the ballot in November. The U.S Court of Appeals acted on Friday to delay action on an August ruling that would place David Gill's name on the ballot. The stay had been requested by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and the state election board. Gill is campaigning in the 13th Congressional District against Republican incumbent Rodney Davis and Democratic challenger Mark Wicklund.
