The cleanup following a torrential downpour Friday night that flooded part of the Illinois State Fair was mostly over and things returned to normal Saturday and Sunday. However, state fair officials were already bracing for another round of heavy rainfall, with the National Weather Service predicting 1 1/2 to 2 inches of rain to fall in Springfield Monday.

The cleanup following a torrential downpour Friday night that flooded part of the Illinois State Fair was mostly over and things returned to normal Saturday and Sunday.
