A private foundation will be raising money for the Illinois State Fair. Governor Rauner announced yesterday the formation of the Illinois Fairgrounds Foundation. The non-profit organization will be in charge of generating funds for repairs and upgrades to the state fairgrounds in Springfield and Du Quoin.
