Illinois Stopgap Budget Approved, Signed By Gov Rauner


Illinois lawmakers overwhelmingly approved a spending plan Thursday that will allow K-12 schools to operate for another year and keep other essential state services operating for the next six months. Later Thursday, just hours before the start of a new fiscal year, Gov. Bruce Rauner signed it.
