Power Outage Update

A major power outage that was caused by fault on a power line that affected a substation disrupted power to nearly 6000 people. Electricity was cut off at 6:38 a.m. for customers on the south and east sides of Bloomington, and the south end of Normal. Power is expected to be returned shortly.
