You're going to be paying more income taxes in Illinois this tax season, but not as much as you could have. The Illinois Department of Revenue yesterday announced a 'blended' income tax rate of four-point-three-five percent for taxes due in April. That's higher than the tax rate to start 2017, but less than the four-point-nine-five percent personal income tax rate approved by lawmakers back in July.
